What can Font Runner Do?
Font Runner has several features that make it unique amongst Font Management software.

1.  The Font List Display
When you browse to a folder containing TrueType fonts, (TTF files) Font Runner's font list display shows you the names of all the fonts contained within that folder using each font's own typeface.  This feature allows you to visually scan through an archive of fonts for an appropriate font without having to click or select each font individually.

2.  The Font Preview Pane
Once you see a font in the font list that you think may suit your needs, you may want to see the font in action.  This is where the font preview pane comes in.  Using the font list, you click a font you would like to preview.  This font then becomes available within the preview pane for you to view the font using your own text, colors and styles.

3.  Font Tryout
Font Runner allows you to try fonts in other programs without permanently installing them!  How easy is it to do this?  Well, any font being displayed in the font list is "temporarily" installed, so it is available to all other Windows programs until you view fonts in another folder or close Font Runner.

4.  Printing Font Lists for Easy Reference
One of the easiest ways to find a font appropriate for your project is to thumb through printouts of typefaces.  Font Runner supports font list printing (and print preview) for creation of a hardcopy index of your font archive.

Using Font Runner is easy for anyone.  Its Windows Explorer-like interface is familiar to most users, and Font Runner's built-in help system is designed to lead a novice through the basics.
